José has over 18 years of experience and has held senior positions, including as an Executive Director, across three of the largest investment banks in the world, where he specialised in quantitative strategies and equity derivatives. Most recently, he took up a senior post at a specialist investment bank, where he develops quant strategies for institutional clients with a focus on nonlinear tail-risk hedging. José holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Imperial College London and a master’s degree in applied mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
